Aitchison College Takes IYNT 2025 by Storm
Aitchison College proudly represented Pakistan at the International Young Naturalists’ Tournament (IYNT) 2025 with two teams of Aitchisonians taking the global stage. After a rigorous selection process, Team Pakistan, entirely composed of our own students, travelled to Almaty, Kazakhstan. There, they competed against the brightest young scientists from around the world. Through intense scientific challenges, debates, and collaborations, our teams showcased Aitchison’s spirit of perseverance, curiosity, and innovation. This participation marks a historic milestone as an all-Aitchisonian representation at this prestigious global tournament. Such successes undoubtedly inspire future generations of problem-solvers and innovators.
Aitchisonians Achieved a Major Breakthrough in Rocketry
On 25th of September, on the outskirts of Bhalwal, the Aitchison College Science Society successfully launched Pakistan’s first-ever Level Two High-Power Rocket. In doing so, our school has set two national records:
This success followed the static test of the Delta-5 solid motor on August 7, 2025, which produced 40 kg of thrust and was entirely designed, built, and fired at Aitchison. Building on that success, the recent flight was powered by the same Delta-5 engine, made completely in-house.
The Aitchison College Rocketry Team has independently engineered its own motor, ignition system, and thrust stand, setting a new standard at the high school level.
This launch marks a defining moment in both the history of Aitchison and of rocketry in Pakistan. It demonstrates that, with vision, teamwork, and determination, our school students can compete with and even surpass the capabilities of leading universities worldwide
From Aitchison to Yale: A Glimpse into YYGS
Aitchison College, Senior School, recently hosted an insightful and highly informative session on the prestigious Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) programme, designed to broaden students’ academic horizons and enhance their global exposure. The session was led by Hadi Mubashir Kazmi, an alumnus of the YYGS Politics, Law, and Economics track, in collaboration with Senior School Counsellor Ms. Sarah Malik. Together, they provided a comprehensive overview of the programme, including its rigorous application process, diverse academic tracks, leadership opportunities, and international networking potential. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of early preparation, personal initiative, and strong written submissions in securing admission to such competitive global platforms. Students also gained valuable insights into the skills and experiences YYGS nurtures, including critical thinking and policy-oriented problem-solving. This session proved invaluable in inspiring Aitchisonians to aspire towards world-class academic enrichment and to prepare strategically for future university admissions, a realm in which the college has proudly excelled historically.

Connecting Aitchisonians to the World
The month of September featured two enriching networking sessions hosted by Aitchison College, the US Admissions Counselling Department. We were honoured to welcome back Dr. Daniel Saud, Assistant Dean of International Admissions at the University of Arizona and a proud Old Aitchisonian, who shared his insights into the university’s dynamic programmes and global opportunities.
We also connected virtually with Abigail St. Johns, Associate Director of Admissions at Colby College, one of America’s leading liberal arts institutions known for its academic rigour and close-knit community.
These engagements reflect Aitchison’s enduring legacy of preparing young men to explore the best global opportunities with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
Guiding Futures, Honouring Tradition
Earlier in September, the University Counsellors engaged with C1 and C2 students and their parents. These sessions underscored a vital truth: the journey to university success begins early.

A Spiritual Beginning: Inter-House 'Qiraat' Competition, 25
