General:

The Director of Teaching & Learning will be a member of the Aitchison College Senior Management Team and report directly to the Principal of Aitchison College. The Director will work in close coordination with the Heads of the Junior, Preparatory and Senior School.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

At least a Masters degree in Education with 10-15 years of relevant experience in a leadership position or at a senior management level.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Developed, managed and delivered faculty/staff development programs that include teacher training and support programs.
  • Extensive experience in pedagogy development programs.
  • Extensive experience in curriculum and assessment design.
  • Conducted curriculum review support for teachers.
  • Designed and conducted technology in education programs.
  • Designed and conducted teacher mentorship programs.
  • Experience in development of teacher monitoring and evaluation systems/programs.
  • Excellent communication skills: written and oral.
