Away from Mundanity: Trip to the Picturesque Manoor Valley
"Nature is the art of God." - Dante Alighieri
The Prep School resurrected the dying tradition of trekking by arranging a trip to Manoor Valley Kaghan during the last summer vacation. Manoor Valley is situated in the picturesque Kaghan Valley. Essentially, a small town surrounded by towering mountains, glistening lakes, and lush green meadows. It serves as a gateway to some of the most captivating sights in the region. The town is nestled at an altitude of 8,202 feet (2,500 meters) above sea level. As a visitor, you will experience that here the sky is different, the air is purely fresh and the atmosphere serene. During the stay, our enthusiastic students were taught the life skills of tent pitching and rock repelling. They trekked and trudged through the untraversed valleys and hills. They wove and treaded through the quiet jungles and tasted the purest water lately melted from the virgin glaciers. During the stay, the mother nature gave them more than they sought. It was a lifetime experience, indeed.
