ACOBA Rifle Shooting Fixture 2022

Aitchison went triumphs in the Aitchison College vs ACOBA Rifle Shooting Fixture.

To begin with, the Aitchison College Rifle Shooting team made a commendable clean sweep against ACOBA's Rifle Shooting Squad. The boys bagged the top four positions successfully with a highest score of 112/150 pts. by Hassaan Zulfiqar of H1I - an amazing result for a start!

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions went to Muhammad Saqib Sialvi (M1FG) - 101/150 pts., Khudayaar Bandesha (M1A3) - 101/150 pts. and Syed Mohammad Ismail Shah (M1FG) - 93/150 pts. respectively. The 5th position went to ACOBA's Mr. Jaffer Mehdi - 80/150 pts. while the 6th position once again went to Ali Ahmed Saad (H1B) - 80/150 of Aitchison College.

We would like to congratulate Aitchison College Lahore's first ever Rifle Shooting team and the instructor for this immaculate victory and wish them the best in the future too.

Aitchison Inter School Rugby 7's Championship 2022

The 2^nd Aitchison Inter School Rugby 7’s Championship 2022 commenced with full swagger, enthusiasm & energy. There were a total of 6 teams that participated in the Championship whose details are as under:

All teams showed great courage and resilience during their pool matches. Aitchison College after keenly contested pool matches managed to reach the Semi Finals. In the Semi Finals after a convincing all round display by the whole team resulted in beating Govt High School, Haroonabad 29/17.

In the finals the opponent of AC was once again Angels International College, Faisalabad. It was a keenly contested final with outstanding tackles from both sides & quick passing in line. The AC forwards were quite dominating which allowed them to create gaps in the oppositions half, thereby, allowing them to score brilliant first half try. The line outs were very strong in the up hold & the offloads were spotless. In the second half, again, there were two early try’s by AC which in the end resulted in a 15/12 victory over the opposition.

3^rd Position: Govt High School, Fort Abbas

Monnoo House Gets the Green Light

Mr Kamal Monnoo (Old Boy) donated for the construction of Monnoo Boarding House (Prep School M1 & M2 boys). Mr Thomson said that the project will underpin Aitchison's national outreach as a school for Pakistan. He thanked Mr. Monnoo on behalf of Aitchison for his great generosity.
