Nothing beats a College Main Assembly and this week was no exception. Almost two thousand boys in full ceremonial dress, gowned staff, parents, and a table piled high with rewards, blazers and trophies enabled all boys to feel a part of something very special. I emphasised how each and every boy who contributed to the year in academics, sports and co-curricular activities could feel proud of their personal contribution, which defines the College's rich ethos. To be a part of something wholesome and demanding carries long term benefits in mind and body, while the honing of character through effort offers a lifetime gift.
It was an occasion that will be long remembered.
